Rockets at Lakers live stream: How to watch online
The Houston Rockets face the Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center on Wednesday night. Here’s how to watch the game online.
Both the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets enter the 2016-17 NBA season with the hopes of reversing their fortunes from one year ago. While the Lakers finished with the second-worst record in the league, a Rockets team with high expectations struggled just to make the playoffs. These squads now kick off a new season on Wednesday night at Staples Center.
For the Lakers, they have new hope in the form of head coach Luke Walton. After suffering under Byron Scott, a young core of D’Angelo Russell, Jordan Clarkson, and Julius Randle now had more freedom under Luke Walton. They also have the No. 2 overall pick in Brandon Ingram joining them, in addition to veterans Luol Deng and Timofey Mozgov. While this team may not be set up to win many games, they have a promising future which starts on Wednesday.
As for the Rockets, this is a team that looks quite different as well. While James Harden remains, Dwight Howard’s reign is no more. Now Ryan Anderson, Eric Gordon, and new head coach Mike D’Antoni are in town and looking to turn things around. This team should be able to put up tremendous offensive numbers, but we’ll see if that translates to overall success.
This game will be the late contest on ESPN’s Wednesday night coverage. Therefore, live streaming for this game will be available through WatchESPN. Log in to WatchESPN online or through the ESPN app with a cable or satellite subscription to access the stream.

Clearly Houston has higher hopes for this season than the Lakers do. However, that doesn’t mean the home crowd in LA won’t be live for this young team under Walton. Subsequently, this one could turn out to be far better than you might expect.
