High Value PG

Tim Frazier-New Orleans Pelicans (5,300) Frazier was one of my best DraftKings daily picks from Wednesday night, and he’s a great option again tonight as he and the Pelicans try to find a way to slow down Golden State. Frazier finished with 15 points, 11 assists, five rebounds, and a pair of steals in New Orleans season-opening win agains the Nuggets. While Steph Curry will be a tough task for Frazier on defense, he should be able to attack and create again tonight and looks very comfortable as the starter for New Orleans while Jrue Holiday is away from the team.∗∗∗∗

Jose Barea-Dallas Mavericks (5,100): So much for Barea’s elbow injury… The veteran ended up playing 39 minutes off the bench on Wednesday night against the Pacers in a 130-121 loss for the Mavericks where there were enough fantasy points to keep everyone happy. Barea was extremely productive in his time on the floor scoring 22 points to go with six assists, two boards, and a block. With Devin Harris still out for tonight’s home opener against the Rockets, look for Barea to keep getting plenty of minutes off the bench especially when the Mavs try to go up-tempo. ∗∗

Tyler Johnson-Miami Heat (4,300): His ESPN the Magazine article and big contract may have gotten Johnson lots of attention this week, but he backed it up on the court in Miami’s season-opener. Johnson played 27 minutes off the bench and finished with 15 points while adding six rebounds, three assists, and two steals. He’ll continue to play 20+ minutes a night making him a good bargain as a multi-category contributor tonight against the Hornets in what should be a fun game to watch.∗∗∗
