FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-November 1
High Salary C
DeMarcus Cousins-Sacramento Kings (9,900): Cousins is back for another night atop the high salary center options. Last night he put up a disappointing 14 points and 12 rebounds against the Hawks for just 27.9 fantasy points. He’ll battle Hassan Whiteside tonight in Miami and, as always, has the potential to go off for a huge number. However, on the second night of a back to back against stiff competiton, I think there are better ways to spend big money today.∗∗
Hassan Whiteside-Miami Heat (8,600): In fact, I think Whiteside is a better play tonight than Boogie especially since Cousins isn’t known for playing much defense. Whiteside has posted back-to-back games with at least 20 points and at least 15 rebounds while adding multiple blocks in all three of Miami’s games this year. If you’re going to spend big on a center tonight, I think Whiteside is the best option. ∗∗∗∗
Myles Turner-Indiana Pacers-Atlanta Hawks (7,100): Turner hasn’t returned to the form that saw him open the season with 30 points and 16 boards for 60 fantasy points, but he did score 20 points in just 22 minutes against Chicago on Saturday. He hasn’t finished any of Indiana’s games with fewer than 30 fantasy points, and he is in a great matchup tonight against the Lakers in what should be a high-scoring matchup in Indianapolis.∗∗∗
