High Value PG

Tim Frazier-New Orleans Pelicans (5,500): Frazier continues to be a regular in my FanDuel daily picks as he fills in for Jrue Holiday in the New Orleans offense. To start the year, Frazier had a pair of double-doubles with over 40 fantasy points in each game. He dropped off sharply on Saturday against the Spurs on the second half of a back-to-back and only managed 18.3 fantasy points while playing limited minutes due to the blowout. Tonight, he should be back and ready to resume his strong start to the season in a good matchup against the Bucks as the Pelicans come back home where he had all his success.∗∗∗∗

Sergio Rodriguez-Philadelphia 76ers (5,100): Rodriguez has exceeded expectations while filling in for the injured Jerryd Bayless. He has started both the first two games of the season for Philly and posted 30.3 and 24.3 fantasy points against the Thunder and Hawks. He is in a good matchup at home again tonight against Elfrid Payton and the beatable Magic back court. Rodriguez has a ton of upside, and he’s a solid low-5K option to save your money to invest elsewhere.∗∗

Tyler Johnson-Miami Heat (4,400): The Kings have very little back court depth with Darren Collison suspended and will be playing of the second night in a row. That could open up opportunity for Tyler Johnson to put up good numbers off the Heat bench. Johnson has scored at least 12 points in each of Miami’s first three games although his non-scoring stats have been a little inconsistent resulting in an average of just 21.1 fantasy points per game.∗∗∗

Beno Udrih-Detroit Pistons (3,500): The best ultra-cheap option at PG is the Pistons’ recently-acquired backup PG Beno Udrih. Udrih has chipped in nice numbers playing behind Ish Smith and has 22.9 and 13.6 fantasy points in the last two games for Detroit. He will get more time if the game turns into a blowout either way tonight against the Knicks, but even in limited time he can be effective. He is coming off a season-high six assists to go with six points he poured in while playing 17 minutes on Sunday against the Bucks. ∗∗∗
