2. Clemson loses

Clemson can’t lose for the sake of the College Football Playoff either. After defeating Florida State in a great game last week, there is a very real chance that the Tigers will win out. Their remaining schedule is fairly easy and then they will have their big test in the conference title game.

The problem is that while Louisville is on standby in the conference, they have been shaky and there is a very real chance they could drop another game before the end of the season. The Tigers just need to take care of business and get in.

If not, that means that a team with a potential loss will get in, assuming the Washington Huskies have already found their way in at this point. Clemson has played a lot of close games and they have passed each and every test they have faced this season.

The opportunity is right there in front of them to get back to where they were. Deshaun Watson has a chance to go out and claim the Heisman Trophy as well. They need to just do their job and not give the committee a headache.
