1. Auburn or Florida beats Alabama

In the end, the biggest thing the College Football Playoff needs is a strong No. 1 overall team that they can depend on. That team is the Alabama Crimson Tide. If they can finish out the season with wins over LSU and Auburn along with winning the SEC, then they’re in and closer to winning another National Championship.

Assuming they can get a tough win over LSU, the Tide still aren’t out of the woods yet. The Auburn Tigers are out to prove they are just as talented and can beat their rivals. The Tigers have cracked the top 10 in the first rankings and believe they still have an argument to be made.

That game is in Tuscaloosa, but Alabama has to be ready for everything that Auburn throws at them. Provided they are able to fend off their rivals at home, they will then get Florida in the SEC Championship Game.

The Tide have thrived in the SEC Championship Game, but Florida always gets up for a big game. It’s another game where they can’t slip up and have to finish off their opponents. If they lose, then chaos will indeed unfold.
