High Salary C

DeMarcus Cousins-Sacramento Kings (9,700): Cousins is a fantasy beast due to his sky-high usage rate and propensity to go off for well-rounded double-doubles. Boogie has at least 50 fantasy points just twice this season, though, so his almost 10K+ salary is a tough one to swallow. Tonight, he’ll be in a great matchup against the Bucks who had been struggling to limit opposing big men. Cousins should be able to attack the matchup and hang a big number on the Bucks. He did finished with 33 points and seven boards on Thursday in Orlando for 51.4 fantasy points and could have similar production tonight. Cousins is always a volatile option based on his personality, and at this price I see him as high-risk, high-reward tonight.

Dwight Howard-Atlanta Hawks (8,300): Howard gets another matchup against one of his former teams tonight as the Hawks fly home to take on the Rockets on the second half o their back-to-back. Howard has at least 37 fantasy points in every game in which he has played his full minutes after posting 20 points, 12 rebounds, three steals, and an assist for 37.9 fantasy points last night. He has four double-doubles with Atlanta and should be ready to pour it on a Houston team he never seemed to fit with.

Jusuf Nurkic-Denver Nuggets (6,000): Nurkic had 18 points but only five rebounds on Thursday in Minnesota. He still managed to finish with 32.5 fantasy points, but he could have had a much bigger night if he had been able to get more work done on the glass. Nurkic had 18 rebounds the game before in Toronto, though, so he should be able to fix that issue going forward. Nurkic has three games with at lest 32 fantasy pointspoint games in his first four contests of the year and makes sense as a solid mid-range play tonight even though he’ll be taking on Andre Drummond of Detroit.
