High Salary PG

Russell Westbrook-Oklahoma City Thunder (11,800): Westbrook and the Thunder come home after suffering their first loss of the season in Golden State on Thursday night. Westbrook had 20 points, 10 assists, and six rebounds piling up 42.2 fantasy points in just 29 minutes. His playing time and production were a bit reduced since the game turned into a blowout, but he should be in a more competitive game tonight against the T-Wolves. In each of his two home games, Russ has a triple double and has 80.6 and 67.2 fantasy points. If he can reach those numbers again tonight, he’ll be worth his salary of almost 12K.

Chris Paul-Los Angeles Clippers (8,800): CP3 and the Clippers roll into San Antonio tonight after picking up the 99-88 win last night in Memphis. Paul will catch the Spurs without Tony Parker which could mean he gets to face off with Patty Mills for most of the night. Paul had 63.3 fantasy points on 27 points, 11 assists, six steals, and four rebounds  in 32 minutes last night. He also had a solid 15 points, 11 rebounds, nine assists, and six steals against the Thunder on Wednesday when he had a very solid 48.7 fantasy points. The Clippers are catching the Spurs on the second night of a back-to-back as well which could allow CP3 to put together a good night in San Antonio.∗∗∗∗

Elfrid Payton-Orlando Magic (6,100): Payton struggled shooting against the Kings on Thursday night going just 3-13 from the field and 0-5 on three-pointers. He was coming off a 8-17 shooting night against the Sixers when he piled up 40.6 fantasy points. His 25.1 fantasy points on Thursday show he can still be decent without much scoring, but he’ll need to be near a double-double to be worth this price tonight against Washington. The Wizards will possibly be weary from their game last night, so Payton’s upside is worth a look at this price. He’s averaging 29.5 fantasy points per game.
