FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-November 5
High Value PG
Emmanuel Mudiay-Denver Nuggets (5,900): One of the best mid-range options to take a loot at tonight is Nuggets PG Emmanuel Mudiay. Mudiay has at least 27 fantasy points in each of his last three games. He struggled wit his shot on Thursday in Minnesota going just 4-18 but he supplemented his 12 points with five steals and three assists to still have a solid total stat line. Mudiay isn’t the most efficient PG out there but his totals are enough to make him an option at under 6K for DFS purposes. He’s in a good matchup tonight in Detroit where he’ll face Ish Smith who is filling in for Reggie Jackson. ∗∗
Sergio Rodriguez-Philadephia 76ers (5,100): Rodriguez has been a popular mid-range play this past week and this is his third straight appearance in my DraftKings daily picks. He has been playing well filling-in for Jerryd Bayless and has posted consistent fantasy points. He has scored at least ten points with at least five assists in each of his four games while posting 30.3, 24.3, 30.5, and 19.1 fantasy points. He’ll take on Kyrie and the Cavs tonight, and he should be a solid producer unless he ends up on the sidelines more than usual due to a blowout. ∗∗∗
Kris Dunn-Minnesota Timberwolves (4,900): Dunn has played well in his two starts filling in for Ricky Rubio posting 30.8 and 24.5 fantasy points against the Grizz and Nuggets. His scoring isn’t great, but he contributes solid rebounds, assists, and turnovers while playing around 30 minutes in each of those contests. He’ll keep getting plenty of run with the starting unit tonight against the Thunder. ∗∗∗∗
Patty Mills-San Antonio Spurs (4,500): Tony Parker will miss about the next week which will make Patty Mills one of the best values to target at PG. He’ll start tonight against the tough defense of Chris Paul, but he had 25.7 fantasy points in the game he started earlier this year against the Pelicans and posted 23.1 fantasy points last night against the Jazz. Mills has a ton of potential in starter’s minutes, but he is a little risky too since coach Popovich never is one for predictability with his rotation.∗∗
Malcolm Brogdon-Milwaukee Bucks (3,900): Another cheap option to check out is Bucks’ rookie Malcolm Brogdon who I’ve had in my FanDuel daily picks pretty regularly since I think he’s a strong breakout candidate. Brogdon scored 14 and 12 points in his last two games when he has been given a little more run off the bench. He has consistently chipped in steals and assists as well to get to 27.4 and 29.9 fantasy points in those two contests. While Mills and some other cheap fliers may be more dynamic scorers, Brogdon offers more non-scoring contributions, and I like him as my favorite cheap PG in a good matchup tonight against the Kings.∗∗∗
