FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-November 5
High Salary PF
Blake Griffin-Los Angeles Clippers (8,700): The Clippers finish their back-to-back in San Antonio in the final game everyone will be watching as the night winds down. Griffin had a “quiet” double-double last night in Memphis with 29 fantasy points on 14 points and 10 rebounds. He had at least 36 fantasy points in three of his four games before that. He’s in a tough matchup, for sure, but it’s hard to ignore him since he has such a high ceiling even against the Spurs.∗∗
Paul Millsap-Atlanta Hawks (8,300): Millsap had a solid-but-not-spectacular night last night in DC scoring 16 points go with with seven rebounds on his way to 30.4 fantasy points. He has the potential to stuff the stat sheet as he has shown with a pair of games over 45 fantasy points, but he also fades away on some nights. He’ll have a good matchup against the Rockets who struggle to defend opposing PF as he comes home to Atlanta tonight making him a high-upside play to take a look at if you have the salary to spend big at PF.∗∗∗
Tobias Harris-Detroit Pistons (6,400): The Pistons have gotten strong play from Harris so far this season, and he has at least 26 fantasy points in each of his five games while averaging 20.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.2 steals per contest. He doesn’t have the elite ceiling that Milsap and Blake do, but if you are spending around 6K, Harris is one of the most reliable options available. ∗∗∗
Gorgui Dieng-Minnesota Timberwolves (6,100): Another solid option at just over 6K is Gorgui Dieng who was on quite the roll before stumbling to just 7.8 fantasy points on Thursday against Denver. He had been over 35 fantasy points in his previous three games, and he’ll be in a good place to produce against the Thunder tonight. I feel like his down night was just a blip and he’s still a strong play tonight. ∗∗∗∗
