2. Rajai Davis homers in the 8th to tie up Game 7

Words cannot describe this home run hit by Rajai Davis. The Indians trailed 6-3 in the bottom of the eighth inning. The Cubs have brought in Chapman, who had pitched the night before, to try and close out the game.

With two outs, Brandon Guyer doubled home a run with Davis in the on deck circle. Everyone had one thing on their mind, can Davis tie this game up? Well he did, and time seemed to stop. Davis circled the bases as Cleveland, who seemed buried, rejoiced after receiving a new life.

This home run made people question the decision made by Maddon to pitch Chapman the night before in a blowout game. Chapman did not have as much velocity on his fastball and he even resorted to the slider more then usual. There were no doubts that Chapman would pitch in Game 7 but in Game 6, he should not have been in.

More on FanSided:

Davis made him pay with the biggest home run of his life and possibly one of the biggest in World Series history. It was a 97 mph fastball that Davis turned around and sent out of the ballpark on a line. The only thing that would have made this home run more exciting is if the Indians would have won the game.

Nothing can betaken away from Davis though. That home run had so many factors that made it so great. These factors include the pitcher it was against, the stage it was on, how late it was in the game and it was to tie the game up. When talking about this World Series, the home run by Davis will always be brought up in conversation.
