High Value SG

Sean Kilpatrick-Brooklyn Nets (4,900): Randy Foye is set to make his season debut tonight, but with the Nets so short-handed int oe backcourt, I still expect plenty of playing time for Sean Kilpatrick. Since Jeremy Lin went down, Kilpatrick has stepped into an even bigger role and posted 41.5 fantasy points and 31.8 fantasy points in his two games against the Pistons and the Hornets. Kilpatrick is one of the best scorers on the Nets’ roster and has been adding solid assists and steals in the last few games to further boost his value. The T-Wolves are a good matchup for him to continue his strong season tonight.

Lou Williams-Los Angeles Lakers (4,800):  Williams is still coming off the bench for the Lakers, but he is contributing really nice numbers for his sub-5K price. LouWill has at least 14 points in each of his last four games and has added good steals, assists, and rebounds to total 30.6, 34.4, and 27.8 fantasy points for the Lakers over the team’s three-game winning streak. LA is running more and scoring more, and Williams is a big part of that coming off the bench.∗∗

Gary Harris-Denver Nuggets (4,600): Harris has only played two games this year after starting the season sidelined with a groin injury. He is listed as probable for tonight’s game in Memphis. He played 16 minutes in his debut on Saturday and had just three points and three rebounds, but he looked much more up-to-speed on Sunday with 12 points, four rebounds and 22.3 fantasy points against the Celtics. Harris will be a great value if he gets back to about 30 minutes tonight, so echeck back to see what news comes out of shoot around if you are looking to go with Harris tonight.

Buddy Hield-New Orleans Pelicans (4,000): Rookie Buddy Hield is starting to earn more time in coach Alvin Gentry’s unpredictable rotation. Last night, Hield played 28 minutes against Golden State and should get around that number on a consistent basis now that Lance Stephenson is out of the picture. Hield has at least 16 fantasy points in four of his last five games highlighted by a career-high 18 points and 28.3 fantasy points last Wednesday in Memphis when the team was on the second night of a back-to-back (like it is tonight.) Hield is boom or bust, but he’s worth a look tonight and definitely worth watching regarding his playing time moving forward.

Tim Hardaway Jr.-Atlatna Hawks (3,600): Hardaway is likely to be a popular play tonight as he should get extra playing time since starting SG Kyle Korver is away from the team after the birth of his son. Hardaway already was a boom-or-bust play off the bench, but with increased time he has more chance of boom and less of bust. So far this season, he has three games over 20 fantasy points including a 26-point outburst gainst the Lakers last Wednesday. The Cavs have allowed the second-most fantasy points per game to opposing SG this season (partly due to opponent), but there should be a chance for Hardawy to step up and go big if his shot is falling tonight.∗∗∗
