player. 10. . LB. Florida. Jarrad Davis. 27

The Florida Gators have an elite linebacker on their defense in the person of Jarrad Davis, and he could find himself in the first round in April. The Houston Texans need to bolster their linebacking corps, and Davis is athletic enough to fit right in. Defensive ends J.J. Watt and Jadeveon Clowney are solid pass rushers, but adding Davis would give the Texans a solid option against the run.

The Texans have a very solid linebacker in Brian Cushing, but he has been bitten by the injury bug in recent years. The scouts like what they see from Davis, who has the talent to eventually be a top linebacker in this draft class. He has elite speed and aggressiveness, and aside from his prowess against the run, he is also a great pass rusher.

The Texans went out and spent big money on their offense this past offseason, and while Lamar Miller has looked good at times, he and quarterback Brock Osweiler have not lived up to their money yet. Still, they have the players they want to roll with on offense, so expect Houston to offense in the first round. They are still in first place in the AFC South, so expect them to draft late in round one.
