7. player. 48. . DE. Alabama. Jonathan Allen

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have suffered from not having Doug Martin in the lineup, as they have won only three of their first eight games this season. Quarterback Jameis Winston is developing into a solid player at the position, and the Bucs have a stud at their WR1 position in Mike Evans. Once area they need help is up front on the defensive line, which is a position with plenty of talent in this draft.

Alabama’s Jonathan Allen is a physical freak, who just may go No. 1 overall to the Cleveland Browns. However, if he does fall to the Bucs, he would give them that high-impact player that they are currently lacking. Tampa Bay is also thin in the secondary, but getting a good pass rush is going to be crucial for them if they want to make the next step forward.

The best part about Allen is he is a complete player, and some feel he is the most consistent defensive star in the college football. He is a monster against the run, and as a pass rusher, he can be very disruptive. Allen is a main cog in arguably the best defense in the country, and he will join a couple of his teammates on that side of the ball in the first round in April.
