Not a good week for Virginia Tech as they lose to Georgia Tech, however, they remain in the hunt for the ACC Coastal crown with North Carolina. A trip to Notre Dame and hosting Virginia at the end of the season should result in two wins for the Hokies. If Virginia Tech wants to reach the ACC title game, they will need some help from North Carolina who has two winnable games themselves to finish the season. Even with the loss this past week, it’s clear first-year coach Justin Fuente is building something in Blacksburg.

It’s about time we start taking USC seriously.

After they dominated Washington on Saturday night, we should probably give Clay Helton and Sam Darnold a lot of credit for helping the trojans and this midseason turnaround. With the young talent producing consistently, don’t be shocked if USC is a top 10 team next season. As for this season, the Trojans have two of their biggest rivals coming up the next two weeks. UCLA and Notre Dame shouldn’t present issues for the Trojans and it’s not out of the question for USC to be in a spot to where they could win the Pac-12 South division so they have plenty to play for right now.
