The rise of the Pac-12 has been amazing to see this season, instead of the Stanford’s and Oregon’s of the world beating up the conference, the Pac-12 has shown real depth and one of the biggest stories in the conference has been Washington State. After losing their first two games of the season, the Cougars have come back to win eight straight and now lead the Pac-12 North. Up next for Washington State is a possible Pac-12 title game preview as they go up to Colorado, who’s ranked pretty close to the Cougars.

If you had Colorado and Washington State this high in any rankings at this point of the season, we’re going to Vegas. One of the good things for Colorado this season is that they’ve been able to stay away from the “letdown” games. It could’ve been easy for Colorado to let one of the lower teams in the Pac-12 trip them up. To end the season, Colorado has two tough games against Washington State and Utah, it’s possible that they could lose both but that shouldn’t take anything away from a team that’s soared past expectations this season.
