High Salary PF

Anthony Davis-New Orleans Pelicans (11,500): The third of the three players over 11K tonight is Anthony Davis who will be back in the lineup and ready to roll tonight against the visiting Celtics. “The Brow” did leave Saturday’s loss to the Lakers for a few minutes with a minor back issue, but he isn’t listed on the team injury report and is fully expected to play tonight. He had 54.1 and 54.6 fantasy points in the two games before the injury and should be able to put together a big night tonight against Boston’s depleted front court which is allowing the eight-most fantasy points per game in the NBA to opposing PF. The Boston front court will be stronger once Al Horford gets back, but if Big Al is sidelined again tonight, they’ll struggle to find an answer against Davis. No Al-∗ Horford returns-

Blake Griffin-Los Angeles Clippers (8,700): Griffin’s numbers haven’t been as flashy as Davis’s and he has only reached 50 fantasy points twice this season,. However, he has been rock-solid and reliable with at least 37 fantasy points in each of his last five games. Over that span he has averaged 21.6 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.8 assists,s and 1.0 steals per game while getting a few nights with lighter minutes due to blowouts. Tonight, that’s a bit of a danger against the Nets, but if the game is close Griffin shoudl be around 40 fantasy points once again. He doesn’t have the top-level upside of Davis, but he is a solid investment at almost 3K less.∗∗

Kristaps Porzingis-New York Knicks (6,800): Porzingis is loaded with upside as the Knicks take on the Mavericks tonight at home at Madison Square Garden. In his last two home games, Porzingis had 41.1 and 38.1 fantasy points against the Jazz and Nets. On the road, he was solid but under 30 fantasy points with 27.7 fantasy points against he Celtics and 26.8 fantasy points against the Raptors. A return home and a good matchup make him a really nice mid-range play to take a look at if you are spending over 5K but under 7K. ∗∗
