High Value PF

Trevor Booker-Brooklyn Nets (5,600): Booker continues to be a regular in my FanDuel daily picks since he’s a great value play under 6K who has been stepping up so far this season. The Nets are giving Booker a chance to start every day, and he’s responding with good numbers almost every night. He has at least 34 fantasy points in three of his last four games and posted a solid 19 points, eight rebounds, and four assists against the Suns in just 26 minutes. He’s in a tough matchup against the big front line of the Clippers tonight, but I still love the value he brings under 6K.∗∗∗

Serge Ibaka-Orlando Magic (5,200): Ibaka had a career night in his return to OKC last night dropping 31 points to go with nine boards and four blocks and hitting the game-winner against his former team as the cherry on top of his 47.8 fantasy points. Before last night’s explosion, though, Ibaka had been held under 20 fantasy points in three of his previous four, so don’t over-react too much to his monster night. He’s high risk tonight against the Pacers, but he definitely flashed his upside last night.

Jon Leuer-Detroit Pistons (4,400): If you have to go with a value PF under 5K tonight, Jon Leuer remains my go-to option. He has played at least 23 minutes in every game this season for coach Stan Van Gundy and is averaging 21.3 fantasy points. He has over 22 fantasy points in five of his last six games and is coming off a double-double of 14 points and ten rebounds against the Nuggets. Leuer isn’t going to go off like Serge did last night, but he is a solid option off of Detroit’s bench and a low-risk investment at just 4.4K. ∗∗∗

Trey Lyles-Utah Jazz (3,600): If you’re looking for a sub-4K flier, Lyles could get the start tonight if the Jazz decide to play it conservative with Derrick Favors knee. Favors left Saturday’s game with knee soreness and didn’t return. He’s questionable for tonight, but if Leyles gets teh start in his place he could be tonight’s version of Nemanja Bjelica.
