High Salary C

DeMarcus Cousins-Sacrmento Kings (8,900): Boogie and the Kings will be playing their first game since last Friday as they host the Spurs tonight for the second time this season. Cousins had his best game of the year against San Antonio back in Game No. 2 when he posted 37 points and 16 rebounds for 63.5 fantasy points. Cousins has produced at least 46 fantasy points in four straight, and he should be well-rested as he takes on the Spurs tonight who seem to miss Tim Duncan a lot on defense where they have given up big games to top-level centers like Cousins and Hassan Whiteside. Compared to the other options on the board tonight and the prices of the other “stars” Cousins has a lot to offer in the middle tonight.∗∗

Marcin Gortat-Washington Wizards (6,400): The Polish Hammer takes on “The Process” tonight as the Wizards visit Philadelphia. So far this season, the 76ers are allowing the second-most fantasy points per game to opposing centers which sets up well for Gortat who is coming off a 18-14 double-double against the Bulls. He has at least 12 rebounds in five of his last six games and at least 13 points in three of his last four. Gortat may not have the upside of the other center options, but he is a steady double-double threat in a great matchup tonight. ∗∗

Marc Gasol-Memphsi Grizzlies (6,200): Gasol had an uncharacteristically empty statline in Utah with 22 points and five rebounds but no assists or blocks and an ugly six turnovers. He finished with just 28.25 fantasy points after putting up at least 32 in six of his previous seven games. One of those games came against tonight’s opponent the Clippers. Against LA, Gasol had a season-high 43.75 fantasy points on 21 points, nine rebounds, four assists, two blocks, and a steal. He should be ready for another good night as long as the Grizzlies can keep things close with the Clippers which no one has been able to do lately.

Joel Embiid-Philadlephia 76ers (6,100): The only part of the Embiid’s game that is frustrating to fantasy owners night now is his minutes limit. When he’s on the floor the Sixers’ big man has looked exceptional and produced good numbers. He has at least 31 fantasy points in four of his last five games after posting a solid 13-point, ten-rebound double-double on Monday against Houston. Even though he’s playing 25 minutes or fewer, he’s still one of the more reliable centers at just over 6K.
