High Value SG

Rodney Hood-Utah Jazz (5,500): Hood missed Monday’s game against Memphis due to illness but returned to a full practice yesterday. He is fully expected to play tonight against Chicago and should return to being a solid fantasy value. Hood has at least 25 fantasy points in seven of his last eight games and nine of his ten contests this season. He has remained very involved on the offensive end even after the return of Gordon Hayward, so I think he’ll be a very good value at just over 5K tonight. ∗∗

Josh Richardson-Miami Heat (5,200): Another SG whose price is a little low given his production is Josh Richardson who is still working his way back from  knee injury that cost him the first four games of the season. Since his return, Richardson has slowly been picking up more minutes, but he had his best game of the year on Tuesday in Atlanta even though it was the second night of a back-to-back. In that contest, J-Rich had 36 fantasy points on 19 points, four boards, three blocks, two assist, and two steals. His playing time could be reduced if Goran Dragic returns to the lineup and he comes off the bench, but he showed great reminders of his upside on Tuesday and should be in a good place to produce tonight against the Bucks in South Beach. With Dragic- No Dragic-∗∗

Gerald Henderson-Philadelphia 76ers (3,400): Henderson had 14 points in last night’s win over Washington giving him at least 11 points in four of his last five and seven of his last nine. He has over 21 fantasy points in four of his last five games and is crazy cheap since he has been toiling for the relatively obscure 76ers.
