High Salary SF

Jimmy Butler-Chicago Bulls (8,400): there are several really nice options at the top of the SF salary chart tonight and Jimmy Butler leads the way. Butler has been stepping up and dominating lately for Chicago and has at least 43 fantasy points in four of his last five games highlighted by 66.5 fantasy points against the Hawks and 66 fantasy points against the Wizards. Butler is in a tough matchup against Gordon Hayward, but he has the highest upside of any player at any position under 9K.∗∗∗

Andrew Wiggins-Minnesota Timberwolves (7,300): Wiggins is actually my favorite play of all the high-piriced SF on a points-per-dollar basis. He is in a great matchup against the 76ers who allow the most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SF, and he is starting to realize his potential as a scorer. Wiggins has at least 32 fantasy points in five straight with three games over 42 fantasy points. He had a season-high 58.5 fantasy points against he Lakers on Sunday while scoring a massive 47 points. The only games where he hasn’t produced return on his investment are blowouts, and I think tonight’s Minnesota-Phily game will be a close contest.∗∗∗

Otto Porter-Washington Wizards (6,500): Porter was another one of my DraftKings daily picks who came through last night filling up the stat sheet against the Sixers. He had a 15-point, 13-rebound double-double while adding four steals to get to 45.25 fantasy points. Porter did log 41 minutes in last night’s loss in Phily, but he’ll need to be active and involved again tonight against he Knicks. New York is allowing the fifth-most fantasy points per game in the NBA to opposing SF, so Porter should be able to continue his emergence tonight as long as his minutes aren’t drastically reduced.  In his last five games, Porter has reached 40 fantasy points three times and went off for 72.5 fantasy points agains the Celtics last Wednesday.
