1. Liverpool

You’ll run out of superlatives talking about the best offense in the league. Jurgen Klopp has inspired the sort of soccer neutrals can’t get enough of. Liverpool have scored 30 goals in 11 games, almost three per match.

Sadio Mane took no time at all to adjust to life on Merseyside, thanks in large part to Klopp’s management style. He perpetually inspires, motivates and gets the best out of his players. His unwavering passion spreads among the players like an airborne contagion. And it’s an airborne contagion everyone wants to catch.

Mane has scored six goals so far. And he’s getting a lot of help. Adam Lallana and Philippe Coutinho have chipped in with five assists apiece, while Jordan Henderson has sprayed a league-leading 904 passes. It truly is an all-round team effort. Other than Mane, no Liverpool player is in the top 10 of league scoring.

Liverpool are first in the following offensive categories: goals (30), completed passes (6,597), shots (210), goals from inside the box (25) and goals from outside the box (5).

If that’s not comprehensive, I don’t know what is. Oh, and they’ve scored 10 goals in their last two matches. Hopefully the international break hasn’t slowed this runaway train.
