Among the latest entrants to FanSided’s Fandom 250: huge film franchises like The Lord of the Rings, The Fast and the Furious, and Indiana Jones.

Who joins the list of Fandom 250 nominees today? On November 21, it’s all about the movies.

We’ve got some big hitters here. Take James Bond. Whether he’s played by Sean Connery or Pierce Brosnan or Daniel Craig, the international superspy has been entertaining people at the movies since the ’60s, and he’s been a staple of the big screen ever since. Newer entrants include the likes of Indiana Jones and Back to the Future, burst onto the scene in the ’80s, part of a new wave of adventure movies that those who saw them as kids still remember fondly today.

Then there’re the newest kids on the block, modern blockbusters like The Lords of the Rings, a series that helped bring about a revival of interest in fantasy fiction, and The Fast and the Furious, which is still going strong eight movies in. There’s even room for underdog series like Mad Max, which made a vaunted return to the cinema after decades away with Mad Max: Fury Road.

The properties on this list are indispensable to any movie fan. Here’s the full list for November 21:

  • Back to the Future

  • James Bond
  • Fast and the Furious
  • The Lord of the Rings
  • Jurassic Park
