The Calgary Flames travel to Michigan to take on the Detroit Red Wings for a 7:30 p.m. ET faceoff on Nov. 20. Here’s how you can watch this NHL game online via live stream.

On Sunday Nov. 20, the Detroit Red Wings (8-9-1) will host the visiting Calgary Flames (7-11-1) at Joe Louis Arena for a 7:30 p.m. ET showdown. This game will be shown on NHL Network in the United States. In Canada, it will be broadcasted on Sportsnet and TVAS. Detroit viewers can watch the game via Fox Sports Detroit. Because it’s on NHL Network, this game won’t be available on NHL.tv.

Detroit enters the game in a bit of a slump. They have a three game losing streak after losing on Friday to the Washington Capitals despite the Caps only having nine forwards following the first period. Detroit has lost six of their last eight, including five in regulation. The Wings average just 2.33 goals per game, eighth lowest in the NHL. Meanwhile, they allow 2.67 goals a game, 15th in the league. Detroit has a 5-5-0 record at home this season.

Likewise, Calgary has a 3-7-0 record over their last 10 games. They lost on Friday to the Chicago Blackhawks 3-2. Calgary has struggled in November with a 3-6-0 record. Without Johnny Gaudreau, the Flames should struggle to score. Even before losing him, they were struggling. Calgary ranks fifth in most goals allowed per game (3.26) and fifth in fewest goals scored (2.26). Moreover, their power play has been pitiful, converting just 8.9 percent of their power plays. While a strong man advantage isn’t required for success, it certainly helps. They are 4-4-1 on the road this season.
