High Salary PG

John Wall-Washington Wizards (9,000): Wall and the Wizards get a home game tonight against the Suns who are allowing the fifth-most fantasy points per game to opposing PG. Wall comes in with good momentum after posting over 42 fantasy points in three straight contests. His most recent game was on Saturday when he finished with 50.75 fantasy points on 34 points, eight assists, and three rebounds against the Heat. Phoenix has been a great matchup for PG all year, and at home I think Wall is the big-name PG to play tonight if you have the salary.∗∗

Giannis Antetokounmpo-Milwaukee Bucks (8,800): The other PG I like in the top price bracket tonight is Giannis Antetokounmpo. “The Alphabet” is coming off his first 30-point game of the season which came on Saturday in a close loss to the Warriors. In total, Antetokounmpo had 48.5 fantasy points on 30-4-6 (points-rebounds-assists). He has over 45 fantasy points in three of his last four games, and he should be able to take advantage of a struggling Magic defense tonight as Orlando visits Milwaukee.

Kyle Lowry-Toronto Raptors (8,100): Lowry and Chris Paul go head-to-head in the late game tonight in what should be a great matchup of top-shelf PG’s. Lowry has at least 43 fantasy points in four straight and seven of his last eight. He had 25-8-6 against the Kings last night, and is a steady producer with the potential to get to over 50 in a tough, hard-fought matchup tonight. He did play a lot last night, though, so fatigue could be a factor. ∗∗

Isaiah Thomas-Boston Celtics (7,900): The Celtics are starting to get healthy and had their full rotation back for their last game when they picked up a win in Detroit on the second night of a back-to-back. IT4 had 44 fantasy points in that contest and has at least 42 fantasy points in three of his last four and five of his last seven. Thomas is the key to everything the Celtics do on offense, and he should be able to put up strong points and assists numbers tonight against the Timberwolves in Minnesota.

Jeff Teague-Indiana Pacers (6,900): Teague went off in my DraftKings daily picks lineup last night piling up a massive 61.75 fantasy points on 30-5-9 against the Thunder and adding in six steals as well. Teague has been playing well with at least 35 fantasy points in four straight, now, and he is helping to pick up the slack for the Pacers while Paul George is out. Since PG13 is out again tonight, Teague has a good matchup against the Warriors who have been giving up the seventh-most fantasy points per game to opposing PG. Fatigue could be a factor, though since he did log 40 minutes last night. Teague comes with some risk, but the way he played last night reminded us just how good a value he can be at this sub-7K price.

Goran Dragic-Miami Heat (6,600): Dragic gets a great matchup tonight against the Sixers as the Heat open their week on the road in Philadelphia. Since missing some time with an ankle injury, Dragic has returned to post 31 fantasy points and 35.75 fantasy points in his two games back at the helm for Miami. Tonight, he’ll be a good play against Philadelphia who is still in the top ten in fantasy points per game allowed to opposing PG. Dragic is a solid and safe play at this price even though his upside isn’t quite as high as the next player on this list.
