Previous: . Miami Dolphins. 11. team. 59. Make it five consecutive victories and counting for the suddenly-resurgent Dolphins. The team has already equaled its win total from a year ago, when the team fell to 6-10 and last place in the AFC East. This year, under new head coach Adam Gase, Miami has proven to be quite resilient. Against the Rams in Los Angeles, quarterback Ryan Tannehill and company rallied from a 10-0 fourth-quarter deficit for a four-point win. The fifth-year signal-caller threw a pair of touchdown passes in the final 4:02 of the game. The Dolphins gained only 240 yards in the contest but the revitalized Miami defensive unit limited Jeff Fisher’s club to only 227 yards of total offense.

Next Week: Gase’s red-hot team faces a NFC West foe for the second straight Sunday. The Dolphins head back home to South Florida to host the woeful San Francisco 49ers. While Miami has reeled off five straight victories, Chip Kelly’s Niners are in the midst of a nine-game skid and are 0-4 on the road in 2016.

Playoff hopes: There are quite a few positives to point to in terms of the Dolphins making a playoff appearance for the first time since 2008. The team own a 2-1 record within the division and are 5-3 vs. the conference. And they are still just two games behind the New England Patriots in the AFC East.
. 6-4
