Starbucks, Forever 21 and Nike among latest Fandom 250 nominees

The latest nominees in the FanSided Fandom 250 include Forever 21, H&M, Nike and five major college programs.

All month long, FanSided is trying to find the most passionate and loyal fanbase in existence. This consists of narrowing the millions of fandoms in the world down to a prestigious 250. The final list is set to be revealed on December 6th, but each week day until then we will be unveiling 10 nominees.

Today is the day you’ve been waiting for if you’re into college football, shopping or both. Store chains Forever 21, Sephora, H&M and Starbucks have all made the cut in the Fandom 250. It’s hard to deny any of these brands being included, as business might be the most immigrant realm to have a strong following. Fans of these stores literally put their money into their fandom, and have supported these retailers on a pretty exclusive basis — rightfully so. They are some of the most popular, trend setting stores in the world and well deserving of slots in the Fandom 250.

Starbucks might take the cake, as they’ve become a brand as synonymous with what they’re selling as Kleenex has been to tissues. The same goes for Nike, which has gone beyond being a show brand and has become a way of life. Even colleges are using the brand to recruit students with snazzy uniforms from week to week, which taps into loyal fanbases across the board.
