Mike Williams. 13. player. 35. . WR. Clemson

Marcus Mariota has established himself as one of the better young quarterbacks in the AFC, and it appears he will not be affected by the sophomore jinx in 2016. The Tennessee Titans are very close to being a year-after-year contender in the AFC South, and they are putting up some nice offensive numbers without a true WR1. That could change next April, as Clemson’s Mike Williams is the kind of receiver who can step into that role immediately.

Williams is a fantastic talent, who has some of the best hands we have seen from a collegiate player in a long time. He is one of the main reasons why the Clemson Tigers have been one of the better teams in college football the past two seasons, as he and Deshaun Watson have formed quite a tandem. Mariota needs a receiver like Williams lining up on the outside, as he could be one of the final pieces to their puzzle on offense.

Tajae Sharpe is a nice player, and Rishard Matthews has put up some good games for the Titans this season. However, they are complimentary receivers, lacking the kind of big play ability that draws double coverage on every play. If the Titans go defense with their first selection in round one, they should definitely look to the other side of the ball with their second one.
