The Sam Darnold Show continued on this past weekend, as the redshirt freshman made a mess of the UCLA Bruins defense. Darnold has been incredible since taking over for Max Browne eight games ago, and has led the Trojans to seven straight victories. They are still alive in the Pac-12 South race, but they will have to take care of business this weekend and hope for a Colorado loss.

Darnold threw for 267 yards in the game, tossing two touchdown passes in the process. Running back Ronald Jones II had another big day, leading the Trojans on the ground once again. Jones collected 121 of the team’s 260 rushing yards, while also finding the end zone twice. The win gave the USC Trojans the Victory Bell for the second straight year.

It has been quite a ride for the Trojans, who were left for dead at 1-3 in what feels like so long ago. They have put some pretty big wins on their resume since then, and there are not many teams hotter in college football right now. The Trojans will end their regular season with a rivalry game against Notre Dame at home.
