Nebraska (+3) over Iowa

This is a pure value proposition. There is some worry that Nebraska could be without quarterback Tommy Armstrong in this game, but even if he can’t go, I’m not convinced it would be that much of a loss for the Huskers. In short, I think Nebraska is better than Iowa, and the field goal swing in Iowa’s favor for homefield advantage is too much for me. Can I see Iowa winning? Sure, but if they do, there is a decent chance it is a field goal game, and the value is on the road team.

Purdue (+20.5) over Indiana

The battle for the Old Oaken Bucket! If you are not paying too much attention to this game on a jam-packed weekend, I can’t blame you, but I’m here for it. Giving out Purdue (again) is not something I desperately want to do, but this is just too many points in a rivalry game. Indiana is very likely going to win this game and they might do it with ease. Still, the Boilermakers are the right side given the number, and with nearly 80 percent of the action on Indiana, we’re fading everyone in this spot. Close your eyes and pray.
