High Salary PG

Russell Westbrook-Oklahoma City Thunder (11,800): Westbrook had 60.7 fantasy points on 31-11-9 (points-rebounds, assists) against  the Kings on Wednesday after 34-8-13 for 59.1 fantasy points against the Lakers on Tuesday. He has at least 59 fantasy points in four straight making him a good play tonight against the Nuggets who are allowing the seventh-most fantasy points per game in the NBA to opposing PG. Westbrook has scored at least 29 points in nine straight games and continues to dominate the ball for the Thunder while running all the offense for OKC.

John Wall-Washington Wizards (9,600): Wall had a huge game on Monday against the Suns with 18-4-15 as well as three blocks and four steals  for 57.3 fantasy points. Wall has posted at least 40 fantasy points in four straight and is another good matchup tonight against the Magic who are allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to opposing PG. If you can’t get together the salary for Westbrook, Wall is a solid alternative expensive option.

Stephen Curry-Golden State Warriors (9,100): Curry and the Warriors take on the Lakers for the second game in a row after hanging 149 points on LA on Wednesday. In that game, Curry had 31-5-9 in just 29 minutes for his best fantasy game in over two weeks. Curry gets a rematch tonight, and should be a solid pick for over 40 fantasy points.

Kyrie Irving-Cleveland Cavaliers (7,600): Kyrie had his first double-double of the year last Friday when he finished with 25-2-11 in just 29 minutes against the Pistons. He ended up with 45.9 fantasy points in that game and followed that up with 20-2-6 against the Blazers in Kevin Love’s monster game on Wednesday. Tonight, Kyrie should be rested and ready to go against the Mavericks who are extremely injury-depleted in the backcourt giving Irving a good shot for 35 or more fantasy points again tonight.∗∗

Jeff Teague-Indiana Pacers (6,900): The team that has allowed the most fantasy points per game to opposing PG this season has been the Nets who are giving up an average of 49.8 fantasy points per game. Tonight, Jeff Teague gets to take on Brooklyn coming off a good week of production that stared on Sunday with 58.5 fantasy points on 30-5-9 and also featured 42.2 fantasy points on Wednesday against his former teammates from Atlanta when he finished with 11-6-8 against the Hawks while tacking on five steals and a pair of blocks. If you’re looking for a mid-range play, Teauge is in a great play to present a ton of upside whether Jeremy Lin returns tonight for Brooklyn or not.

George Hill-Utah Jazz (6,300): The Hawks have struggled to defend opposing PG all season and enter tonight allowing the fourth-most fantasy points per game to them. Goerge Hill gets to take them on tonight in Utah after returning from an eight-game absence on Wednesday. In that game against the Nuggets he had a solid 22-5-3 for 34.5 fantasy points. He was fitting in extremely well with his new team before his injury with over 35 fantasy points in three of his four games before his sprained right thumb. Since he’s back and healthy in a good matchup, he’s a really nice mid-range play tonight. ∗∗
