High Salary SF

Kevin Durant-Golden State Warriors (9,600): Durant had 55+ fantasy points for the third time in his last five games with 56.5 fantasy points on 29-6-9 against the Lakers. Durant has at least  45 fantasy points in seven straight and will almost always deliver solid production even if he doesn’t go off for over 57 fantasy points. In fact, he hasn’t reached 60 fantasy points in 14 straight games making him a steady value option without a super-high points-per-dollar ceiling. The one thing that could impact his role tonight is that Draymond Green is questionable with an ankle injury. If Green is out, Durant could pick up work on the glass, but it would be Green’s first game missed making the impact of his absence unpredictable. ∗∗

Carmelo Anthony-New York Knicks (7,300): Of the ten teams in action tonight, no team is giving up more fantasy points per game to opposing SF than the Hornets. Last night, Melo hit the game-winner on his way to a monster 68 fantasy points on 35-14-5. He hadn’t posted over 50 fantasy points in any game this season, so his explosion last night is hopefully the start of a strong run for Anthony. He did play a season-high 41 minutes but should be able to be back on the floor tonight as he tries to continue to attack that same matchup as the teams finish their home-and-home in Charlotte.∗∗∗∗

Andrew Wiggins-Minnesota Timberwolves (7,000): Wiggins re-discovered his scoring touch in his last game pouring in 25 points in Phoenix after just seven, 14, and 13 in his previous three contests. Before hitting that wall, Wiggins was on a nice run and will look to get back tot he form that saw him post 35 fantasy points in five of six games at the beginning of the month.
