When North Carolina lost in their final regular season game on Friday, the Hokies knew they would be heading to Orlando and playing for a conference title for the first time since 2011. Even with that, they didn’t play like a team who had nothing left to prove when they took the field on Saturday.

Do the Hokies have a chance to win this weekend against Clemson? Of course they do…after all, one percent is still a chance. It’s going to be an uphill climb for VaTech. Their defense will be able to keep them in it, but they don’t have the offense to run with the Tigers.

Right now, there may be no hotter team in the ACC (and possibly most of the country) over the last month than the men from Tallahassee. This week was going out and dominating the fifth ranked defense in the country and showing that their own defense has grown up from early season errors.

While many fans of the Seminoles are going to be kicking themselves over two losses by a combined five points, FSU is now on track (barring an upset in the ACC title game) to finish the season with a chance at double digit wins in the Orange Bowl – something not even though of just four weeks ago.
