Jason Terry distracts J.R. Smith from bench, Tony Snell scores (Video)
Milwaukee Bucks guard Jason Terry distracted Cleveland Cavaliers guard J.R. Smith from the bench so that Tony Snell could score.
There’s certain ways to help your teammate score the basketball and most of them involve being on the board. However, that wasn’t the case for Milwaukee Bucks guard Jason Terry. He decided that he was going to do his buddy J.R. Smith dirty and it worked to perfection.
With the Bucks having the ball and the Cavaliers defending, Terry called over Smith to say hello and the two embraced on the floor. While they were slapping five and saying what’s up to each other, Tony Snell took the ball inbound and went straight to the hoop for the basket.
It was too late at this point for Smith to realize what happened and that he had been had. It’s pretty incredible that a play like this was able to go off and it sure was some veteran thinking from Terry on the play.
