In less than a year the Los Angeles Lakers have gone from completely unwatchable to one of the most entertaining teams in basketball. And while it was easy to think that players like D’Angelo Russell, Jordan Clarkson, and Julius Randle were being held back by Byron Scott’s Princeton offense but to see players like Lou Williams, Larry Nance Jr., Nick Young and Tarik Black look like completely different players is an unexplainable phenomenon. Young no longer looks the part of reckless knucklehead. He’s giving it his all on both ends. Playing within the offense and arguably being the team’s best defender too. Young did have a Swaggy P moment when he stole a Brandon Ingram pass intended for Williams, but drained a game winning 3-pointer against the Oklahoma City Thunder.. 9-9
