Craig Morton Division

16. Eli Manning

Manning and the Giants won on Sunday, but it’s hard to put the two-time champion higher than 14th. Why? His 10 interceptions and penchant for inaccuracy in the red zone.

15. Jameis Winston

Winston still drives some crazy with inconsistency and a habit for holding onto the ball, but he’s a playmaker. The Buccaneers have beaten the Chiefs and Seahawks in consecutive weeks, and the former top-overall pick has 2,900 passing yards and 22 touchdowns on the year.

14. Ryan Tannehill

The Dolphins are rolling, and Tannehill is playing like the first-round pick he once was. The 2,574 passing yards and 15 touchdowns aren’t incredible, but his pocket presence and decision-making have been wildly improved.

Bobby Layne Division

13. Marcus Mariota

Mariota has thrown for 2,998 yards and 25 touchdowns, and here’s to betting you couldn’t name two of his receivers. The Titans have a solid starter here at the worst, and a flat-out star at best. I’ll make a bet of my own; the latter.

12. Kirk Cousins

Cousins is second in the NFL with 3,540 passing yards on a team that seems a good call for the postseason. The Redskins live and die with their passing attack, and Cousins is showing why he’s a franchise quarterback.

11. Ben Roethlisberger

Roethlisberger did what was expected against the Colts. He lit them up on the way to a 21-point win. The Steelers need to keep winning if they want to reach the playoffs, and their future Hall of Fame quarterback must lead them.
