4. Matthew Stafford
Stafford figured to regress this season without Calvin Johnson. Instead, he is showing mettle that few thought he had. Stafford has become Captain Clutch, leading the Lions to a 7-4 mark.
3. Derek Carr
Carr has to be the frontrunner for MVP out of the AFC. The Raiders’ signal-caller has thrown for 3,115 yards and 22 touchdowns against five interceptions.

2. Matt Ryan
Ryan is averaging 9.25 yards per attempt while hitting on 26 touchdowns with only six interceptions. If he doesn’t win the MVP this season, it may never happen.
1. Tom Brady
Brady missed the first quarter of the season and still has 2,201 yards with 18 touchdowns and one interception. Unreal.
