High Value SG

Evan Fournier-Orlando Magic (5,800): Fournier bounced back from a tough night in San Antonio to score 28 points last night against the Grizzlies. He finished with 31 fantasy points on 28-0-4 and continues to be a key part of Orlando’s offense.  He has at least 30 fantasy points in three of his last five including a monster 27-6-7 for 47.7 fantasy points on Sunday against the Bucks. He brings a ton of upside to the table tonight against Philadelphia who he posted 17-5-5 (and 30.5 fantasy points) against earlier this season. If you have to spend under 6K on a SG, he’s one of my top picks.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope-Detroit Pistons (5,600): KCP has been excellent lately and is another really nice option with high upside under 6K. He has at least 30 fantasy points in five of his last six games and is combined off a season-high 40 fantasy points which he posted on Wednesday in Boston on 25-5-4. Caldwell-Pope is prone to bad burns when he’s off and the game gets one-sided, but he should be a good play tonight in Atlanta in a nice matchup of Eastern Conference playoff hopefuls. ∗∗∗

J.J. Redick-Los Angeles Clippers (4,300): Redick continues to be a one-dimensional fantasy option, but it’s hard to argue with the results of posting over 22 fantasy points in three of his last four and at least 21 fantasy points in ten of his last 12. He had 23 points in just 25 minutes last night in Cleveland and finished with 24.9 fantasy points which is a solid return for such a minimal investment. He should be able to again return value tonight as he faces the Pelicans in New Orleans.

Justin Holiday-New York Knicks (3,900): Holiday could move into the starting lineup for the Knicks tonight with Courtney Lee unlikely to play after rolling his ankle on Wednesday. Holiday had success in his previous trips to the starting lineup, but he only managed 10.8 fantasy points in 20 minutes on Wednesday. He’s a solid flier, but he isn’t a lock to produce enough fantasy points to be a must-own at a position with so many other solid value plays.
