3. Alabama has too many weapons on offense

Florida may have one of the better defenses in the country, but Alabama has more than its fair share of weapons on offense. The Crimson Tide have a dual-threat quarterback in true freshman Jalen Hurts, who is looking increasingly comfortable on every passing attempt.

In the receiving game, Alabama can draw up plays between the hash marks to tight end O.J. Howard, send wide receiver Calvin Ridley on a go-route in the vertical passing game, and just get the ball in ArDarius Stewart’s hands to watch him create something spectacular out of thin air.

Let’s not forget that Alabama’s bread and butter offensively is pounding the rock up big late in games. Though they don’t have the bell-cow back of a Derrick Henry anymore, the Crimson Tide have several reliable rushers in Damien Harris and Bo Scarbrough in their backfield.

Florida will be able to stop some of the Alabama offensive weapons, but not all of them. Eventually, Alabama is going to break a massive touchdown on the Florida defense to put this game out of distance. It’s no shame that the Florida defense will eventually cave to Alabama’s attack. Most great defenses meet the same unfortunate fate.
