High Salary SF

Kevin Durant-Golden State Warriors (10,500): The Warriors loss on Thursday may have exposed their flaws, but Durant had a big fantasy night finishing with 39-13-2 with three blocks and three steals for 67.6 fantasy points. It was a new high-water mark for Durant in fantasy points this year alt hough his consistency is helping him average just a shade under 50 fantasy points. He had 53.8 and 49.3 fantasy points in his two previous matchups with the Suns, and he should be ready to get another good total tonight. He’s an expensive option tonight, and I actually like a couple other options better on a points-per-dollar basis. However, Durant’s reliability makes him a low-risk way to spend over 10K tonight.

Jimmy Butler-Chicago Bulls (8,800): Last night, the Bulls put a surprising smackdown on the Champion Cleveland Cavaliers sending them to their third straight loss. Butler led the way (as usual) for the Bulls with 26-8-6 along with two blocks and three steals for 53.6 fantasy points. He has at least 50 fantasy points in three of his last five games. He had a season-high 40 points and 58.4 fantasy points against the Lakers the last time Dwyane Wade rested. With Wade taking the night off, Butler is a must-play at under 9K tonight.

Gordon Hayward-Utah Jazz (7,900): Hayward is expected to be without 3/4 of his fellow starters tonight as he and the Jazz face the Nuggets. George Hill, Derrick Favors, and Rodney Hood are all expected to be out leaving Hayward, Rudy Gobert, and the second unit to face the Nuggets. In a similar situation, Hayward had 50.1 fantasy points against the Heat on Thursday on 32-3-7. It was his fifth straight game with over 35 fantasy points, and his sixth straight scoring at least 22 points. Two of those games during his recent run came against the Nuggets, and he should be able to put together another high-usage, monster-production game against the soft Nuggets defense tonight.

Andrew Wiggins-Minnesota Timberwolves (6,000): Wiggins is showing signs of shaking off his shooting slump and had 19 points for the second game in a row last night in New York. He has at least 29 fantasy points in each of those two games and had 35.9 fantasy points against the Hornets earlier this season. He has a very high ceiling tonight in Charlotte, but his recent shooting issues make him high-risk especially compared to Butler and Hayward.
