Now that we know what the College Football Playoff will be, who are the favorites heading into the matchups

After another long and thrilling college football season, on Sunday it was finally time to find out who would be playing for the national championship. That means the final four in the College Football Playoff Rankings would be revealed.

They were indeed revealed on Sunday, and when all was said and done, the teams in order from 1-4 were Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State and Washington. In the Peach Bowl, Alabama will play Washington, while Clemson and Ohio State will do battle in the Fiesta Bowl out in Arizona.

With these matchups still fresh in our minds, here’s a look at the opening betting odds for two of the most important college football games of the year.

Really, there’s no surprises here.

As you’d expect, not many people will be giving the Huskies a chance against the undefeated Crimson Tide, and that includes the people out in Las Vegas. This will be the narrative for the next few weeks as we lead up to this game, and as time moves on, don’t even be surprised if that number jumps a tad higher.
