High Value PF

Taj Gibson-Chicago Bulls (5,900): Gibson is in a great matchup tonight against the Blazers who are giving up the most fantasy points per game in the NBA to opposing PF. When he faced them last noght, he had 12-11-0 with two blocks for 27.2 fantasy points. Gibson had a down game on Saturday with just 11-4-1 and 17.3 fantasy points against the Mavericks after posting at least 30 fantasy points in three of his previous four games including a 23-11-5 explosion against the Cavs on Friday when he had a season-high 44.7 fantasy points. While he may not get to 40 fantasy points tonight, he’s in a great matchup with a good shot at getting near 30 fantasy points making him a good value option at under 6K.

JaMychal Green-Memphis Grizzlies (5,000): Green and the Grizz will have to find a way to slow down Anthony Davis and the Pelicans tonight without Zach Randolph who is still away from the team on personal business. Green has stepped up amid all the injuries in Memphis and posted at least 24 fantasy points in four of his last five and seven of his last nine. He had his best game during that run in his last contests against the Lakers finishing with 16-13-1 and three blocks for 39.1 fantasy points in my FanDuel daily picks lineup for Saturday. He’ll be in a good matchup to get around those totals again since New Orleans is currently giving up the third-most fantasy points per game to opposing PF.

Ryan Anderson-Houston Rockets (4,800): Anderson has been heating up lately for Houston and has scored at least ten points in each of his last seven games. He has over 25 fantasy points in three of his last four including a monster 33-fantasy-point game against the Warriors on Thursday followed by 31.7 fantasy points the next night in Denver. I thought Anderson would be the perfect fit for Mike D’Antoni’s system, but it has taken him a while to get going. He could be getting on the right track now, though, so give him a look while he’s still so affordable.∗∗

Trey Lyles-Utah Jazz (4,200): Lyles has been a solid contributor for Utah since Derrick Favors’ most recent injury, but he hasn’t gone off enough to get his price to climb out of the bargain region. He has scored at least 12 points in each of his last five games, though, and has 19+ fantasy points in four of those five contests.

Anthony Bennett-Brooklyn Nets (3,600): Bennett got the start in place of Trevor Booker on Saturday and finished with 24.3 fantasy points  on 7-14-1 in 23 minutes. Booker is considered questionable for tonight, and if Bennett draws another start he’ll be worth a look against the Wizards. if starting-
