15. team. 16. Everything seemed to be going the way of the Buffalo Bills. In a game in which the team would rack up 212 yards on the ground (130 by LeSean McCoy) and open up a 24-9 third-quarter lead, apparently the Raiders had Rex Ryan’s team just where they wanted them. Buffalo allowed 231 total yards and 29 points in the second half. Bills’ defenders surrendered 139 yards rushing on 32 attempts. And it also prove to be a rough outing for Tyrod Taylor, despite the fact that he ran for a third-quarter touchdown. The young quarterback threw for only 191 yards, was sacked four times and committed both of his team’s turnovers in the bitter loss.

Next Week: Ryan and his talented squad will look to cool off the suddenly-rejuvenated Pittsburgh Steelers. Ben Roethlisberger and company have won three straight games after a surprising 4-5 start. For what it’s worth, the Bills have dropped five straight games in this series. It will be interesting to see if Ryan’s defense can slow down red-hot running back Le’Veon Bell.

Playoff hopes: They took a big-time hit with the loss at Oakland. The 38-24 loss dropped Buffalo’s record in the AFC to 3-5, which includes losses to non-divisional contenders such as the Ravens and Raiders. Unless this team gets a lot of help, the Bills will remain the only team in the league not to make the playoffs this century.
. 6-6. Previous: . Buffalo Bills
