High Salary SF

Jimmy Butler-Chicago Bulls (9,200): Jimmy Butler and the Bulls couldn’t pull out a shootout last night against the Blazers even though he and D-Wade finished with good numbers. Butler ended up with 26-7-5 with two blocks and a steal for 45.9 fantasy points. He has at least 43 fantasy points in three straight games and five of his last seven making him a good investment against the Pistons tonight. Butler has scored exactly 26 points in four of his last five games and is turning in solid counting stats as well.  While I don’t think he’ll explode for over 60 fantasy points against the solid Pistons SF defense, he should be enough of a contributor to be worth 9K.∗∗

Gordon Hayward-Utah Jazz (8,100): Hayward continues to lead the surging Jazz and had another good fantasy night last night in LA. He finished with 39.7 fantasy points on 23-6-5 with a pair of steals. He has at least 35 fantasy points in seven straight which includes a 50.1-fantasy-point game and a 47.5-fantasy-point game from his last homestand. Hayward is doing it all for Utah and will continue to have a ton of usage if George Hill is out in tonight’s good matchup against the Suns.

Otto Porter-Washington Wizards (6,300): Porter has been solid for the Wizards since Bradley Beal returned to the lineup although he hasn’t gone off like he did in early November against Boston. In each of his last six games, Porter has scored 11+ points and points 27+ fantasy points. He had 31.8 fantasy points against Brooklyn last night on 18-4-2 and 37.4 fantasy points against the Spurs last Friday when he managed 15-12-2 and four steals against Kawhi Leonard. His steals have added big-time to his fantasy value and he has at least there thefts in five straight games.
