6. team. 81. The Toronto Raptors have quietly re-cemented themselves at the top of the Eastern Conference. They just saw their six-game winning streak (which included wins over the Houston Rockets, Memphis Grizzlies, and Atlanta Hawks) come to an end at the hands of the Cleveland Cavaliers. DeMar DeRozan has seen his hot start taper off into only one flame emoji type of play instead of the unlimited flame emoji style he offered at the beginning of the year. Still, he and Kyle Lowry together make the Raptors into one of the best teams in the NBA. Those two carry the heaviest burden nightly and allow for players like Jonas Valanciunas, Terrence Ross, DeMarre Carroll, and Corey Joseph to play to their strengths and help keep this team as a threat to the Cavaliers in the East. The Raptors are just on the brink of being able to stand tall with the Cavaliers, Los Angeles Clippers, San Antonio Spurs, and Golden State Warriors of the league. Maybe a trade deadline move with a team like oh I don’t know, the Denver Nuggets, is all they need to make that jump.. 14-6. Previous: . Toronto Raptors
