High Salary C

DeMarcus Cousins-Sacramento Kings (11,100): The Kings are in Dallas tonight to face the Mavs who don’t have Andrew Bogut or Dirk Nowitzki. Cousins should be able to carve them up like he did the Knicks on Sunday when he had 26-12-4 with three blocks for a massive 62.4 fantasy points. Although he has been somewhat buried under the rest of the statistical greatness going on this season, he has at least 62 fantasy points in three of his last four games and at least 50 fantasy points in six straight. If you’re going to build around a five-figure stud, he’s my top option for tonight.

Hassan Whiteside-Miami Heat (8,900): Whiteside fell just short of 50 fantasy points last night finishing with 49.3 on 23-14-1 with three blocks and a steal. He has at least 49 fantasy points in four of his last five now and is a solid bet to get to that neighborhood again tonight against the Hawks and Dwight Howard. He costs much less than Boogie, but he still brings potential for 50+ fantasy points.

Al Horford-Boston Celtics (7,700): Big Al has been a big risk since rejoining the Celtics. He has had big upside (over 42 fantasy points in four of his eight games) but also big busts (under 25 in two of those eight games). Tonight, Boston needs him to step up with IT4 out, but he still has to deal with the tough defense of Bismack Biyombo in Orlando’s starting five.

Mason Plumlee-Portland Trail Blazers (6,000): Plumlee continues to plug along and turn in solid acros-sthe-board production. He was limited to just 23 minutes against the Bulls but still had 26 fantasy points giving him at least that many in six straight and eight of his last nine. He is producing at his best when he’s turning in assists, so look for those numbers to go up tonight if you deploy him against the Bucks in Milwaukee.
