High Value C

Clint Capela-Houston Rockets (5,600): My favorite center under 6K is a regular in our DraftKings daily picks, Clint Capela. Capela has at least 25 fantasy points in three straight and 12 of his last 14. He had 38 fantasy points against the Thunder when they met last month on 13-14-0 and three blocks. Capela had 33.25 fantasy points on Wednesday in just 20 minutes against the Lakers, and if he can get back to around 30 minutes per contest, he’ll be a nice play under 6K.

Tristan Thompson-Cleveland Cavaliers (4,900): Another solid play tonight is Tristan Thompson of the Cavs who had a season-high 20 rebounds against the Knicks on Wednesday for 35.5 fantasy points. He i sin a good matchup against the Heat tonight who are allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to opposing centers. Thompson is in a good enough matchup to be a solid mid-range play if you’re spending in this range tonight.

John Henson-Milwaukee Bucks (4,500): Henson isn’t quite as stable as T2 or Capela, but he has been good since getting more playing time for the Bucks. He’ll have to try and slow down Dwight tonight, and has at least 18 fantasy points in six straight including three games with over 32 fantasy points. He’s my favorite sub-5K play in the middle tonight. He’s a little riskier than Thompson, but I think he has a higher ceiling.

Salah Mejri-Dallas Mavericks (3,600): If you’re ready to totally punt your center spot, give Salah Mejri  a look since he’s probably going to start tonight against the Pacers. He got into instant foul trouble on Wednesday and only played 11 minutes finishing with 10.25 fantasy points, but he did have nice starts earlier this season including a 32.25 fantasy points game against the Spurs. He’s a high-risk flier, but one that could pay off tonight.
