High Salary C

DeMarcus Cousins-Sacramento Kings (11,200): In our last position, we finally get to my favorite mega-star play of the night. Boogie has been beastly lately with at least 55 fantasy points in four of his last five games including when he had 36-13-4 and three blocks against the Knicks last Sunday. He’ll get that same matchup tonight and only the 76ers have been worse this season at limiting opposing centers fantasy production. Cousins is definitely a costly investment, but at home where he usually does his best work and in this matchup, I think he’ll deliver 60+ fantasy points.

Andre Drummond-Detroit Pistons (8,200): There are a lot of good options in the elite tier just behind Boogie, but the one I like the most is Andre Drummond. Drummond had a monster 26-20-1 double-double against the Hornets on Wednesday night for 54.5 fantasy points. He has at least 33 fantasy points in five straight games all of which have been double-doubles. He gets a good matchup against the Timberwolves tonight on the second night of a back-to-back, so if you can’t afford Boogie, Drummond would be the other expensive play I would target.

Dwight Howard-Atlanta Hawks (7,800): Howard missed the first game between the Hawks and the Bucks, but he will be in a good place to produce tonight in Milwaukee. He had 23-17-4 and a pair of blocks for 54.4 fantasy points against Miami on Wednesday night for his first game over 40 fantasy points in his last eight games. When the Hawks get blown out of blow out their opponent he usually plays dramatically reduced minutes, but in close games he usually gets a double-double with plenty of upside.
