Ryan Tannehill dropped back to pass, and then did something that doesn’t qualify as good, or a pass.

Whoever thought that Miami Dolphins’ quarterback Ryan Tannehill could be a star in the NFL might not want to watch the video below. Then you will understand why many people believe the Dolphins need a new starting quarterback.

Holding a 14-6 lead, and with  the ball on their own 30-yard line on 2nd and 6 with 2:26 to go in the first half, Tannehill is hoping to lead his team down the field for some points before halftime. Instead, the Texas A&M product tried to throw a swing pass into the flat and missed with one of the uglier things we have seen this season.

Casper dropped the pass, and the ball bounced harmlessly inside the Dolphins’ 20-yard line. What ensued was a hilarious fight for the ball, in which the Dolphins recovered (thankfully) and they were forced to punt the ball away.

When you look at Tannehill’s “pass to nowhere,” you just can’t help but look at that funky play and see so many other similar blunders throughout his career. Thankfully for Miami, the Dolphins headed into halftime with a 14-9 lead.
