High Value PG

Deron Williams-Dallas Mavericks (5,700): Since returning from a calf injury, Williams has been pretty solid for the Mavs, and he’s in a good matchup tonight as the Nuggets roll into Dallas. Williams had at least 29 fantasy points in five straight before a bit of a letdown on Saturday against the Rockets (and Patrick Beverley). He was limited to just 9-3-6 and 22.25 fantasy points in that contest, but he had scored at least 14 points in four of his previous five games with solid assist numbers as well. The Nuggets are allowing the fourth-most fantasy points per game to opposing PG this season, so D-Will should find some nice room to operate tonight.∗∗∗∗

Tyler Johnson-Miami Heat (5,500): Johnson has some other options around him coming off the bench as the Heat start to get some players back, but like Dragic, he still has plenty of opportunities. He had 15-3-4 for 24.75 fantasy points on Saturday in Chicago and has at least that many fantasy points in seven straight. He struggled against Washington earlier this season, but his recent form should allow him to get to around 25 fantasy points tonight making him a solid mid-range play.

Patrick Beverley-Houston Rockets (4,900): Beverley has been a key contributor for Houston since returning from his knee surgery. He has been especially effective lately making him a regular in my DraftKings daily picks and a good option in tonight’s plus matchup against the Nets. Beverley has at least 30 fantasy points in each of his last three games and four of his last five. He has 20+ fantasy points in six straight and is a low-risk option as a result. He had 15-7-2 for 30.25 fantasy points on Saturday against the Mavs, and he always seems to find ways to contribute even though he doesn’t score a ton of points in some matchups. The Nets are allowing the most fantasy points per game to opposing PG of any team in the NBA, so look for Beverley to be a solid 5K investment. ∗∗∗∗

Malcolm Brogdon-Milwuakee Bucks (3,400): My favorite PG sleeper play for the night is Bucks backup PG Malcolm Brogdon. Brogdon has scored in double-digits in each of his last three games and has at least 15 fantasy points in each of those three contests. He had 25.75 fantasy points on Wednesday againt Portland and 24.5 fantasy points on Friday against Atlanta. If the Bucks play small, Brogdon could see even more time than usual, and his solid backcourt defense could be needed to help slow down Lowry and DeRozan. If he keeps seeing about 25 minutes a game, he’ll be a solid value play under 4K.
